Directly opposite Fabrika (where, unfortunately, cocktails are served in plastic cups!) is this grown-up bar, where international demands for high-quality cocktails are met. Here, a feel-good atmosphere has been created in two old building rooms with high walls, inviting you to linger — “Experience the timelessness” is the motto. The prices here are neither cheap nor expensive: above all, the cocktails are worth every tetri (cent) and are freshly prepared with top international spirits and ingredients!
Excellent Cocktails, Beer and Cuisine at the Ficus Bar
For those looking for an exciting twist, there is the Barracuda Dragon. This bold concoction combines the botanical notes of gin with the mysterious allure of absinthe, electrified by Blue Curaçao and an energy drink — boomers beware, haha. Fancy a classic with a Georgian twist? The ChaCha Sour is your answer from Sakartvelo and stands up to even the classic Whisky Sour. For this local version, the ChaCha popular in Georgia is used, which harmonizes perfectly with fresh lemon, a silky egg white and a dash of Angostura bitters.

As a passionate beer drinker, I can thoroughly recommend the Ficus Bar for a quick beer or the tasty bar snacks. If you want to relax with a beer, choose between the classic Natakhtari or the Craft Beet Taati from the tap. Bores can fall back on Heineken and Corona (without the virus?), but miss out on the great Georgian beers – IPA and APA are also available on request! For wine drinkers, there is an exquisite selection of Georgian wines. Those who are unfortunately traveling by car will find non-alcoholic drinks and should not miss out on the homemade lemonade!
For a snack in between, you’ll find some good options here. Personally, I like the bar classic with chicken nuggets and fries. The pizzas on offer are mid-range, quite good for a bar, but of course can’t compete with the elites like MyChef, Silvio d’Italia and Area NY – but this is a cocktail bar after all!

What’s important to me and what I really like is the pleasant lighting atmosphere in the bar, it’s not as dark here as in other venues. The Ficus Bar Tbilisi attracts pleasant guests, there are never any problems here, which unfortunately cannot be said of other venues in the area. There is rarely chaos here, bar owner Giga and his team never lose track of things and know how to create a great atmosphere. You can tell by the really ingenious works of art and the many details that have been hidden in this bar. There is no question in my mind that this is one of the best bars in Tbilisi, so I definitely recommend it, whether you live here or are just on vacation.
