In the middle of the old town of Sololaki, there is hardly a location that is more important for expats than The World’s End. The name is due to the pandemic, because Kirill Pindiurin’s bar defied the collective madness of 2021 and has survived all crises to this day. The location is usually well attended, people smoke outside, board games are played downstairs, live acts are organised, Cthulhu is worshipped and a good time is always had.

A groovy location in Sololaki with a great atmosphere
Although The Worlds End is also popular with locals, it is mainly an expat bar that is perfect for newcomers to our beautiful Tbilisi. Kirill tries to bring a lot of variety with karaoke, theme nights and events. There is a relaxed and playful atmosphere, and if you want, you can play “Cards against Humanity” or Jenga. You won’t find any drunken idiots or problem-seeking arseholes here, thanks to the ever-cheerful security staff. Besides, the bar is simply too friendly and nice to attract unwanted guests.
Events and the Legend of Nino Datunashvily
Every Friday at around 10:00 pm, Tbilisi’s punk rock singer, Nino Datunashvily, gives a concert, provided that “she hasn’t overslept 😴😁. Nino, our favourite revolutionary, has one of the most powerful voices in the city and is waiting with a rocking performance – she even masters ballads – including ingenious covers of “Listen to your heart by Roxette” and “I will fix you by Coldplay”.
By the way, Kirill Pindiurin is considered to be the discoverer of Nino Datunashvily, she has been playing at Worlds End since it opened… I would say “Nino for President”, but unfortunately, she is too cool for the job.

Drinks and snacks at The Worlds End Bar in Tbilisi
In addition to chips, nachos, peanuts and the infamous “Glass of Meat”, the bar now also offers hot snacks. The hot dogs are particularly difficult to eat when drunk, but they are a delicious class of their own! You can find more current offers on the screens in Worlds End. The bar has an excellent selection of international spirits, including the popular Kraken, and is particularly well known for its wine arrangement. White dry, red semi-sweet and red dry are available at reasonable prices from:

The “Infused Vodkas” in the flavours kiwi, ginger, lavender, honey, cherry, coconut and many more are a great success. I always like to order the House Vodka Special Board with friends – 5 shots for 25 GEL.
Compared to other bars in the city centre, the World’s End Bar has a fair pricing policy. Lager beer starts at 6 Gel and ranges from stout to IPA to 9 Gel. Speaking of beer,… there is another serious matter that we urgently need to discuss in the next section.
WTF! Beer cocktails? A crime against humanity?
To the members of the united beer nations of Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic, you must prepare yourselves for a terrible fact! The World’s End Bar is pouring syrup, spirits and other stuff into their homemade “beer cocktails”?!
This is a clear declaration of war on the German purity law. However, I myself have observed that these “beer cocktails” have been tested on humans – as a native Austrian, I am simply shocked. All the test subjects (including volunteers?!) survived the drink, so it can’t be that bad – and no gate to beer hell opened, as I had predicted. I’m afraid some people even liked the brew? So it’s clear and 100% scientifically proven that Cthulu is involved!
The service and ambience of The Worlds End Bar in Tbilisi
The bar is easily accessible from Victory Square and is located in a well-kept vaulted cellar. Smoking is not allowed inside, and all the lovable addicts usually gather upstairs for a cigarette. The annoying neighbour, who is always complaining about the noise, has become another mascot, along with the omnipresent Cthulu, when she charmingly curses the local guests. Don’t worry, it only happens sometimes and it doesn’t take away from the fun of the location. The service in the bar is familiar and extremely accommodating. The interior design focuses on cosiness with playful details. All in all, you just feel comfortable here and can have a great time.
Great value for money – our honest conclusion
Yeah, The Worlds End Bar is just cool and uncomplicated. The bar has established itself as a fixture for the international expat scene in the city and has earned its place in Tbilisi Nightlife. The only criticism is that it can get really crowded on some evenings, but that’s a good thing indirectly. What you think about the “beer cocktail experiments” on living people is up to you – I remain loyal to the beer gods and prefer to stick to the really ingenious infused vodkas. Kirill and his crew have really succeeded in creating a lively institution here – same level as Browns Bar and Nomads Bar this is one of the most important expat hangouts in awesome Tbilisi!
